Desperate Housewife Teri Hatcher is embarrassed by her recent Glamour magazine award, as she is running out of things to be nominated for each year.

The actress picked up the Best Writer award for her book Burnt Toast at Glamour magazine's annual award ceremony in London on Tuesday - and her latest haul makes it the third different trophy in consecutive years at the ceremony.

She says, "It's getting rather embarrassing. This is the third year I've won an award - I've previously won Best Actress and Woman of the Year - and it's like they have to keep finding categories for me to win.

"And you know what will happen next, don't you?

"It's the dreaded Lifetime Achievement award, which means it's all over for you."
